Rovaco has been curated to present work for "Movement Research at the Judson Church" by Juan Michael Porter II. This evening of dance is put together by the Artists of Color Council (AoCC) at Movement Research. Rovaco will present "The Devil's Advocate," performed by company member Nico Gonzales. "We end up zooming out, thinking the more generic we get, the easier it will be for people to relate. I’ve realized over time that the more specific I get, the easier it is for people to relate. If I can tell someone’s story and tell people why this person is feeling the way they’re feeling in that moment, that creates empathy."

Artistic Director Rohan Bhargava was awarded the prestigious Jadin Wong Fellowship by A4 as Emerging Dance Artist in 2020.
