Rovaco is pleased to announce that Periapsis Music and Dance has commissioned Artistic Director Rohan Bhargava to create a new work set to music by composer Asha Srinivasan. The piece will premiere in-person as well as virtually alongside work by choreographers Gabrielle Lamb, Alia Kache, and Annie Nikunen. Artistic Director Rohan Bhargava has been awarded the prestigious Jadin Wong Fellowship by A4 as Emerging Dance Artist 2020. This award includes a $6,000 cash grant, career coaching, and artistic mentorship from resepcted dance leaders. We will present a public program to culminate the fellowship in February 2021!

It premiered at St. Michael's Episcopal Church on October 19th and First Presbyterian Church of Brooklyn on October 20th as part of Habitat: Home NYC.
Rovaco was back at Hunter Dance Center teaching advanced level contemporary class. We gave lecture demonstrations and technique classes at KIPP Sunnyside Highschool and we also taught masterclasses for St. Thomas Univeristy's brand new dance program!
